Exholt, Fluralaner Oral Solution for Chickens, is a break-through new product approved for use in poultry in Australia. New from MSD Animal Health, Exzolt is an innovative, easy-to-use, effective and safe parasiticide for chickens that eliminates 99%+ of Poultry Red Mites (D. Gallinae) and Northern Fowl Mites (O. Sylviarum) by systematically treating host birds via drinking water.
For use in chicken, pullets, breeders and layer hens for the treatment and control of
poultry red mite. (Dermanyssus gallinae) infestation in pullets, breeders and layer hens. For use in drinking water.
A complete course of treatment consists of two doses, administered 7 days apart. One dose is 0.5 mg fluralaner per kg body weight (equivalent to 0.05 mL of product). At the moment we can only offer this product in 1 litre bottles (hopefully 50mL bottles are approved by the APVMA soon) and can be purchased from our website. For smaller qualities for your backyard flock, your vet may dispense this product in the quantity required for your flock.
